If your looking for a relaxed, down home manner of a blog then look no farther than Knatolee’s World, composed by Natalie Rowe. She recently reviewed iMoo and gave us wonderful and delightful write up! I have to say that not only is she a sweetie, but she is also a real trooper too! The promo code I sent her unfortunately is only good within the U.S. and Natalie resides in Canada! Our Northern neighbor went ahead and bought iMoo out of her own pocket! Having overcome that particular hurdle, she went on to say that, “I am most pleased with iMoo and would recommend it to anyone with an iPhone or iPod Touch and a sense of humour. The graphics are very appealing, the sounds are cowishly delightful, and it’s cheap fun. No doubt kids would love it, and since I never grew up, I am in bovine love. Go treat yourself to a virtual can of Holstein happiness!” Now if that does not bring the cows home then I don’t know what will! So head over to Natalie’s blog and take in the lovely countryside flavor!

Being that it is a Monday morning, I figure we all need a little pick me up right? I have been saving this one for a few days now for just this grand opportunity. Tami Winbush over at Misc. Ramblings has a wonderful contagious sense of enthusiasm and is the perfect antidote needed for a Monday morning! She emphatically starts off declaring ”MINE MINE MINE!” so as to let the reader be well aware of the fact that she gets first crack at enjoying iMoo before her children! I had a vision of the scene where Yoda beats R2-D2 with his staff. Now that’s a passion for iMoo that might even exceed our own! Tami goes on to say how she had “soooooo much fun playing” iMoo. Dang skippy she did! We were given “4 thumbs up… for simplistic, enjoyable, downright fun on the iPhone.” Best of all though, is the fact that we were able to bring her “a smile when [she] really needed it”. Yet again, the little iMoo makes a big hit!

We had a nice, friendly iMoo review by Jason Huber over at kidsiphoneappreview.com. He notes that iMoo “is a nice remake…like you used to see in stores like KB Toys.” That right! We want to help bring back the classic vibe that so many loved and enjoyed when they were growing up. His oldest son, who is nine “thought it was a blast and was rolling on the floor laughing!” Now that is the sort of thing we love to hear! We wholeheartedly strive to promote good old fashion jollity. Jason even made a fab little video of iMoo in action. How cool is that! Great to see another dad and son enjoy iMoo, that is makes all the work worth it!

We are proud to announce the launch of the Panda Cub Productions YouTube Channel which will help showcase our apps by way of a short video. Our very own Panda Wizard (aka Tim) did a stellar job creating our first one which highlights iMoo! Some fun background information which you might find interesting is that the music used for the video was composed by a joint collaboration between Tim and our dear friend Marco Jimenez, while the “moo” recording originated from David Wills (aka The Weatherman), one of the front-men of the band Negativland. So head on over and check out our majestic YouTube iMoo video!

Our good friend Rod recently released a playful and lighthearted iPhone/iPod Touch app rascally entitled Mr. Happy, The Melancholy Sausage. As you have probably already imagined from the title, part of the fun of Mr. Happy is how you manipulate and interact with the little fella. What is really astonishing is that Rod has had no prior experience with programing, let alone Objective C, which is the programing language used to create iPhone/iPod Touch apps. Well, truth be told, it really not much of a surprise to us, for we know how innovative and diligent he is with his work. He is the creative tour de force behind The Wishing Well, a multiple award winning romantic comedy short film told in a stylized popup-book fairy tale manner. What is really awesome is the fact that he literally did everything. He was responsible for all aspects of the film, from the camera work, editing, to the special effects and of course acting. Not only does he plays every single character in the film, but he concocted all of the twenty-six characters make up as well! So if you are in the mood for a good time, why not download Mr. Happy and then make some popcorn and watch The Wishing Well.

When is a review not a review? This has been the weighty question that I have been pondering here for the last few days, since Alexis over at Running Away I’ll Help You Pack has written quite an opus in praise of iMoo. Here’s the rub…she does not have an iPhone or an iPod Touch. So how does her write up actually work out you ask? Really well in fact! If you want to read a very humorous, entertaining and lively assessment of iMoo, this is the one! The irony is that while Alexis has not actually used it, her enthusiasm for iMoo is so contagious and endearing that you find yourself believing as if she has been enjoying iMoo for quite a long time. I, for one, can not wait till she does get herself an iPhone or an iPod Touch. If Alexis is this captivated with iMoo, then think of the frenzy she will be in when she hears her first moo!

We had a good, simple and straightforward little iMoo review written by Michel Lent Schwartzman, a father who runs iPhone4Kids.net . He states that iMoo is “simple enough for any kid to play with it and have some fun.” Sweet, short and to the point! Terrific to see that Michel gave us a positive and a blue-chip review. So there you have it, iMoo is father approved!

Being the ever curious one, I was interested to see what if any feedback was left on one of the kindly blogs that wrote a review on iMoo. There was in fact a reply by one named Lorie that caught my attention, so I sent an email off to her asking if she would be interested in reviewing our app as well. Lorie wrote back saying that she would love to, but would have to wait until she was fully recovered from an operation she just underwent. Having been in the same boat as she was some years back, I knew exactly how much “fun” that is. I sent off a promo copy and told to just have some fun with it and not to worry about reviewing it. A few days later, I received an email from her thanking me for showing her some kindness and that she made a post on her blog about experience with yours truly and Panda Cub Productions. Talk about being humbled. Here is a link to her posting….

‘Rudeboy” over at TotalSmartPhone.Net gave a very glowing review of iMoo, extolling the resplendent wonders of our simple little app. He relates how it was not only “a lot of fun to play with”, but that his six year old son Max personally gave it his “two thumbs up!” He goes on to say how we did a “great job”, and that it “looks cool and works exactly like the old “cow-in-a-can” toy.” This is an especially meaningful critique for us, since ‘Rudeboy” was in fact the very first person to be sent out a promotional code for review purposes. How very cool to finally see his review after all this time. It was well worth the wait! Even better though, is knowing that he and his son max had a really good time being entertained by iMoo. That is the sort of thing that makes us really proud around these parts, that our iMoo in a small manner helps to promote a father and son sharing some invaluable moments together.

BestAppSite, an iPhone/iPod Touch review page newly created by Terry White recently reviewed iMoo. Some long standing Apple faithful might recognize Mr. White as the co author of The iPhone Book and founder and president of Michigan’s largest Macintosh Users Group apply named the Mac-Group Detroit. It was a no-brainer to send off a review promo code to Mr. White, since I was aware of his extensive Mac background and experience with the iPhone platform. Who better to review our first app? Shortly afterwards, I received a reply back saying that our beloved little iMoo was not quite the type of app that he was focusing upon reviewing. Fortunately, now with the advent of his new web site, there is a perfect place for apps such as ours to be reviewed and showcased. We were given a very respectable 4 out of 5, and it appears that he too has been won over by our little moo who can (get it…moo…can…ah, I hit the champagne a little too much last night is seems.)
